Vintage Flight Jacket

1950s N2 -A Blue Nylon Flight Jacket. Rare early nylon flight jacket with split hood lined in black shearling. Clear ID envelope still attached to chest. Faint US Air Force insignia on left sleeve shoulder. Knit cuffs and waistband have very slight moth damage (or wear). It appears this pilot was a lefty as the left cuff shows more wear and there is a slight scrape on the left sleeve. We received 2 jackets from this pilot and on both, he had removed the original fur trim from the hood. Zipper is original and in great shape with original leather pull. Tag size says Large. Armpit to Armpit 26", Chest 44" - 46", Length 23". #11709
