1950s Fringed Pioneer Leather Coat
Cool 1950s long fringe leather jacket. Terrific pioneer style jacket made popular by films like Shane and TV shows like Daniel Boone. This heavy rough-out suede jacket has extra long fringe. Fringed leather was used by the early native americans of the plains because the fringe helped dry the leather quicker if it's rained. Nice satin lining with a jacquard pattern. A very well made jacket in excellent condition. Some of the fringe in back is a different dye lot and is lighter, it is more apparent in our photo than when worn. Chest 38" (Armpit to armpit 21") Shoulders 19" Outside sleeve 24" Length 27 + fringe.
