1960s Brooks Brothers Mod Suit

Early 1960s Brooks Brothers 3 button suit designed for travel and easy care. Light weight wool blend. Subtle green gold plaid. A wash and wear suit like the one spoofed in Hitchcock's classic thriller, Charade. In fact I think the whole scene was contrived to get the beautiful Audrey Hepburn to say 'shut the door' in a French accent. Which sounds a whole like she is saying "je t'adore" or I love you. The jacket has a single vent and arrow lapels. The flat front trousers have tapered legs finished with a cuff. Excellent vintage condition. size 37 short.
