Darling 1940s Day Dress

Vintage Forties dress in very lightweight, semi sheer cotton with a woven pink and white eyelet stripe. Jaunty little patch pocket on the bust that matches the pocket on the hip. The fitted, pleated bodice has a roll collar. Slightly flared skirt with pleated waist. Never worn - though, there is a sewing mark on the bodice (see pic). Bust 42" - 44", Waist 36", Shoulder to waist 17", Waist to hem 29". Flare to the skirt.
