Dramatic 1940s Dress

Vintage Forties Dress in Rayon acetate with a terrific micro check weave. The bodice has a wonderful dart collar with decorative buttonholes and buttons. Deep pleats in the front of the shoulders let into the bust. Shoulder pads. Cuffed short sleeves. Deep closed pleat in the front of the straight skirt with decorative button effect. Deep pockets at the waist. We've photographed with a black shiny belt - not included. Never worn with tags (from Wanamakers). Bust 44", Waist 37", Shoulder to waist 17", Hips 48", Waist to hem 32".
