1940s Wartime Women's Work Pants
Ultra rare women's work pants like those worn by Rosie the Riveter. Seen in the pages of Life magazine during the war as part of the drive to increase production and win the war on the home front, Images of women working at building bombers and oiling trains inspired a wave of women to join the work force. Marilyn Monroe was one of these women. She worked as a technician in a factory building drones used for target practice. These roomie cotton twill pants have side button closure. High waist. Classic work clothing from a momentous time in our nation's history. Excellent condition. A matching shirt can be had elsewhere on the site.
