1930s Pink and Black Chalk Stripe Suit
This iconic "gangster suit" from the late 1930s has a perfect silhouette. 3 pc with pale pink stripe on black wool. Double breasted jacket with peaked lapels over a vest with lapels. Flat front trousers with a flared leg ending in a cuff. The pants alone are amazing, we don't remember the last time we came across a 30s suit with flared cuffs. You're typical banker would never wear a suit with such a stylish detail. Dated 1939, from a Camden New Jersey tailor. This suit in the iconic style which came to be associated with hoodlums is in great condition, there is a single darn from the period on the seat of the pants and a few skips in the stripe from wear. By the way the tailor who made this is a damn artist.
