Couture 1950s Tuxedo

Beautifully tailored, couture quality tux in a gorgeous fur blend wool with a lovely hand feel. Silk satin lapels and cuffs. Luxurious scarf weight silk lining. Oversized braided silk button closure with a tassel. Tapered pants with silk stripe, fully lined in silk, and a zipper down the middle of the back. This exceptional piece from the late Fifties came from a stunning jetsetter who frequented St. Moritz, the Riviera, Manhattan, of course. This impossibly chic tuxedo would have been quite the sensation at Truman Capote's Black and White Ball! Excellent vintage condition.
