1950s Seersucker Sheath Dress
Sexy Fifties secretary dress with a narrow figure flattering pencil skirt and fitted bodice. This late 50s gem is made of "Triumph" a Dacron and cotton blend seersucker with a gray and white vertical stripe. Lots of neat design details, "Meg Marlowe was on top of her game when she drew this one up. The fitted bodice has a button placket trimmed with crochet satin looped edging and has paired buttons. The short sleeves have pleated ruffled hems with a button cuff. The collar is an Asian inspired mandarin collar. The straight wiggle skirt has 3 pleats on each hip and a closed kick pleat at the hem in back. Two in seam pockets on each hip. A self belt with metal covered buckle keeps the waist neat and tidy. Side metal zipper. This unworn vintage gem has an original hang tag. This is not a reproduction. By the way, all of our measurements are your measurements, in other words, we are providing the ideal measurements to insure a good fit. We include a little ease where appropriate.
