Sixties Mod Paper Shift Dress. Cut out neckline with ties. A-line silhouette. 1966 was the height of the mod look and paper dresses were a fab fad that originated during that year. The ultimate in consumerism, wear it a couple times and toss - or in this case, hang it on the wall. Made famous by Warhol's Soup can dress, paper dresses were a thing that burned bright.This terrific example is in worn condition with two archival repaired tears on the shoulders. The repairs are not easily seen. Because of it's fragile nature, this item is not returnable. Bust 34" Length 38"
