Slick 50s Argyle Tie
Bold rayon satin jacquard diamond pattern tie. Early example of a keeper tag- a label that encourages you to slip the secondary end of the tie through to keep it looking neat. Common in the 60s it is rare to see one in the 40s or early 50s. This tie is in good condition, there are unfortunately several faint spots and a single abrasion on the edge. (a fault of a too sharp edged tie bar no doubt) Width 4.5" Length 47"
