1930s Chore Jacket
Cool early jacket with triple stitch felled seams. Curiously, there are no rivets or bar tacks. The top left pocket is side opening - the inside seam is a white selvedge. Four button front. Square hem, three part sleeve. No maker's mark. Solid condition apart from blown out buttonholes and some abrasions on the pockets (probably from carrying nails or screws in the pockets). Chest 40" (22" armpit to armpit), Shoulder to shoulder 19", Outside sleeve 23", Length 28".
