1940s Byrd Cloth Cap
Kelley Green tropical weight cotton. Byrd cloth was developed in the 1940s and tested by the military and found to be the best fabric for tropical conditions. Tightly woven with a 300 threadcount. It dried faster and absorbed less than all other fabric tested. It also felt cooler. AND it was the best protection against mosquito bites through fabric. Never worn Size 7
