Vintage 1940s Motorcycle Jacket
Unusual black leather motorcycle jacket with very dark purple wool blanket lining (darker than our closeup picture, the larger picture is more accurate in this regard.). Front quarter horsehide label, which I think was used by Californian at the time. Attached belt with nickel plated snaps. Zippered pistol pocket on chest and two slit reach in hand warmer pockets. A small cigarette pocket as well. Short action pleats in the shoulders. A single pocket in lining. Excellent condition. Some old repairs to the lining and a replacement zipper. The leather is supple and free of damage. Small. For a man with a chest of 36-38" with 4"-2" ease respectively. Shoulders 18", Outside sleeve 24.5", Length 25"
