1930s Tweed Suit Made for Hollywood Film Set in 1920s.
Two piece wool herringbone tweed suit. Made during the 1930s for a production set in the early 1910-20s. Single breasted with slit reach in pockets. Dark red stripe on forest green. Lined in satin. Construction is top notch. Ventless back. Flat front trousers with tapered leg ending in a cuffless hem. No back pockets. Side on seam reach in pockets. Hidden suspender buttons. Labels from Western Costume and various stamps. No actors name just initials HAR. Minor wear in the lining otherwise excellent. Fits a man with a chest measuring 45.5" Shoulders 21" Outside sleeve 25" (can be let down a couple inches if need be. jacket length 30" Waist 31" can be let out a couple more inches. Inside leg 31" Rise 15"
