Fabulous heavy herringbone tweed man's suit of double breasted jacket and high waist Hollywood style slacks with very wide legs. Carrying a 1930s Western Costume label and identified as having been worn by G. Milsfield in an unknown film. This piece is also stamped "Sunset" which may refer to their Sunset Blvd location. Western Costume is the main supplier of costume for motion pictures from the silent era to the present. The jacket is fully lined in cotton flannel. Beautifully tailored. The pants are pocketless and notched in the back. There are no belt loops either. Suspender buttons are found on the inner waistband. The pants hem have the cuff let down, There is ample fabric in the leg to let down even further and re-cuff. The condition is excellent with no flaws of note. This suit was made in the period.
