Product Details

Gorgeous cotton tuxedo shirt with French cuffs. Buttons in back. Collarless. Superbly tailored with loads of details forgone in todays shirts. A nice pima cotton in a jaquard weave with tiny hatched texture. Woven bib Front. A "J" monogram embroidered on the left sleeve.This was made for a Reading Railroad executive who rode in his own private traincar to work each day on the mainline in Philadelphia. His home library was panelled with carved walnut walls from a 12c French chateau. This shirt is in excellent condition with very minor foxing. Fits a man with a chest of 42", Armpit to armpit is 23" Outside sleeve 24" Neck 15 1/2" Shoulders 17"
