1920s Buckle Back Jeans
Stunning vintage work pants in indigo denim. Made by Great Eastern, A small company in Johnstown Pennsylvania I believe-Not the same as Great Eastern Mills in NJ which only opened in 1957.. These old farmers jeans have a no nonsense design esthetic with one piece leg construction-no side seam to catch on stuff. Gussetted crotch. Belt loops secured with suspender buttons. Triple stitched inside leg seam. Other than a repair on the seat they appear little worn. Too small for the original owner who probably split the seat the first time he sat down to milk a cow. Dark blue color. Found on an old New Jersey dairy farm. Stored for decades in a clean metal milk can sealed tight. Because of the unique nature of these pants no return is offered on purchase. Waist 38" Inseam 34" Rise 15"
