1940s Purple Satin Evening Dress

Vibrant purple satin evening dress from the late 1940s. Shimmering rayon satin with a lush flow. Padded shoulders with forward facing pleats. Sculpted roll collar. Amazing iridescent button bodice. Good vintage condition with soft edge fades throughout that almost looks intentional and some spots. The spots show as varying the texture of the fabric, they may show from one angle and be invisible from another. A dress that comes alive when worn and Has a real 'WOW' effect.
